About
My name is Shannon Holleman. I have been a special education teacher for over twenty years. I also have my masters with an emphasis in Dyslexia. Over my twenty years of teaching, I have worked with and seen a need for better identification of Dyslexia. Many students show symptoms of Dyslexia but are not being classified appropriate and provided the correct accommodations to help thrive in our education system.
Even with my extensive experience, I struggled to find someone to evaluate my own three children in the South Bay Area for reasonable price. Due to this void, I decided to fulfill this need. We are located in San Jose, CA.
Services
Through our services, we will provide correct academic evaluations for people with Dyslexia and/or learning disabilities and provide reports, recommended accommodations, and the next steps to best support those with Dyslexia/learning disabilities and their families in Santa Clara County.
How it works
Step 1
Fill out the form to contact us so we can schedule a meeting time.
Step 2
We will meet and get to know each other. The meeting may entail an interview, survey, request for work samples, etc. This will allow us to know which assessments should be used and how much testing needs to be completed as we proceed. This step will be $200 due at the time of the meeting regardless whether or not we move forward to step 3.
Step 3
After step two, our company will discuss what assessments we plan to use and the price for the next steps.
Step 4
Testing will take place with the recommended assessments. This may take multiple sessions to complete.
Step 5
A couple of weeks after testing is completed, we will meet again to discuss the results and recommendations. Final payment is due at this time.
